At this introduction to lino cut printing workshop students learnt the basic principals of lino cut printing. First they familarised themselves with the tools each making a small 'quilt' of lines and texture on a small piece of linoleum before progressing onto their larger work for the day. All materials for the workshop were provided as was a delicious lunch from Crathes Castle Cafe.
